I didn’t write my daily entries. No vivid moments stuck in my head—except two things. Ironically, one felt like good news, the other like a bad twist.

The good news? My 12 skill credits are finally done. I even confirmed it with my mentor. I asked her straight—“Once I submit my summer vacation course certificates, will my credits be complete?” And, surprisingly, she said yes. All of them came from certificate courses. No associations. No committees.

See, the college rule says by the end of third year, you need 12 skill credits—four per year—earned through committees, associations, or certificate courses. Students can do more, but 12 is the minimum.

When I filled out the form in the First Year, I chose “startup” as my association. Later, HOD told me startup wasn’t an association at all—it was for people who actually wanted to start a business. She literally said, “It’s not an association, it’s developing your own startup. IIC is the association. But you haven’t chosen that.” She told me to talk to some other madam, but every time I went to find her, she was either eating lunch or not in the office. Eventually, I got frustrated and dropped it.

If “startup” wasn’t a real option, then why was it even on the form? What if a clueless student chose it—like I did? But I didn’t bother to fight. I just decided to earn all my credits through certificate courses and a few social activities.

First year—two courses: Graphic Designing and Basics of Stock Market. Oh, and a fake internship certificate I edited with my name, thanks to Tissue. Second year—three courses: Personal Fitness, Video Editing, Digital Marketing. Third year—let’s skip talking about it.

If I reviewed them now, I’d call them BULLSHIT and A WASTE OF TIME. They are bad not because they are bad subject but the way they teach. All except Personal Fitness. That one actually pushed me to care about health, staying active, maybe even joining a gym. Not that I’m doing any of that right now. But it’s on my bucket list, and I guess that’s something.

Then came the bad news. A notice. At first glance, it looked routine—“Minimum attendance 75% required.” But then the twist—this time, they meant 75% in each subject, not overall. Miss it in even one subject, and you’re out of the exam. You’ll have to sit for a second round.

Are they out of their minds? I was chilling, skipping lectures, thinking I could keep my overall 75%. Now they want it in every subject? I checked my portal. My attendance is terrible. Let’s not even talk about it.

So yeah, that’s my week. I’ve got the credits and headache to maintain 75% attendance in each subject.
Instead of writing every day like usual, I’ll just drop my to-do list and focus time.
